Alternatively, take your pick of pizzas and pastas for R65 each. This offer is valid from 12pm to 6pm only and only applies to sit-down orders.

HQ (City Bowl) Enjoy a two-for-one deal on their signature sirloin steak with chips on Monday nights. The two-course set menu includes a salad, steak and chips. The restaurant fills up quickly, so there are designated seating times at 6pm and 8.30pm.
Jamaica Me Crazy (Woodstock) Enjoy selected burgers, pastas, pizzas and combo meals for R55 all day on Mondays. The selection includes favourites like the Jamaican Rodeo burger, Tropicano pizza, sticky ribs and Coco Locos. Also enjoy half-price selected cocktails from 5pm to 7pm Monday to Thursday, and from 6pm to 7pm on Saturdays.
Neighbourhood (City Bowl) Get 25% off meals all day on Mondays. Alternatively, order any gourmet burger and a Grolsch Draught for lunch and pay only R80. The gourmet burger special is available from Monday to Friday during lunchtime. Every day of the week, order a mezze platter and two glasses of house wine for R90, or main wings and two Grolsch draughts for R80.

Rick’s Café Americain (Gardens) Indulge in one of their weekday lunch specials for only R65. The dishes change weekly, but you can expect banting dishes, pastas and fish. These specials are available Monday to Saturday from 11am to 5pm. Stop by for happy hour (3pm to 7pm) and get discounts on beers on tap and cocktail jars, and pay only R38 per cocktail.
SGT Pepper (City Bowl) Head to this Long Street favourite for some pizza and great local comedy. The restaurant hosts a comedy night every Monday for R120 per person. This price includes a pizza (under R90), a Savanna Dry, and entry to the show. The show starts at 8:30pm.
Spiro’s (Hout Bay)
Van Hunks (Gardens) Order two pizzas and only pay for the most expensive one. This special is available from 5pm onwards on Mondays.

Eat out the Box (Wynberg, Rondebosch) Order two pizzas with three toppings each for only R109. This offer is valid for takeaway only.
Fat Harry’s (Kenilworth) Daily lunch special from 12 noon until 4pm: Get Harry’s pie, penne rigate, frittata and salad, and couscous salad for R40; or chicken cordon bleu for R55. All day, everyday: pay R150 for a bucket of five craft beers. Daily from 5pm to 6pm: buy any 1litre cocktail pump and get the second one free.
Pizza Fair (Constantia) Order any two medium pizzas for R99.95 (add R8 each for supplements). Alternatively, purchase a medium pizza and half a rack of ribs with chips and onion rings for R149.95. This special is available all day on Mondays.
Barristers Grill (Newlands) Order one main course and get one free from 6pm on Mondays. Alternatively, show up for lunch between 11am and 6pm and pay R55 for a hearty pub lunch off their special menu. If you’d like to order it as a takeaway, you will pay R6 extra for packaging.
Borruso’s Too (Kenilworth) Enjoy a variety of daily specials like mac ‘n cheese (R60), creamy pesto pasta (R74), bacon, blue cheese and fig preserve pasta (R90), various pizzas and their Mojo jam jar cocktail special (R70).

Blowfish Restaurant (Table View) Enjoy a seafood platter for two packed with calamari, mussels, prawns, fish of the day and a serving of chips, savoury rice and vegetables for R99. This offer is available from 12pm to 10pm on Mondays. There’s a daily oysters and bubbly special from 12.30pm until 10pm for R129, which gets you six fresh oysters and two glasses of Pieter Cruystoff bubbly.
Caffé Villagio (Milnerton) Enjoy a breakfast special for R29.95 with eggs (done your way), bacon, tomato, fries and toast, or order a burger and fries for R59. Choose between a homemade beef patty or chicken fillet served with fries or a garden salad. This special is available on Monday between 12pm and 3pm only.
Cattle Baron (Tableview, Tokai) Order a beef or chicken burger for R29.90 from 12pm to 8pm. Add a sauce or topping for R6, an additional patty for R13 or a serving of vegetables for R18. Unfortunately, no sharing or doggy bags are allowed. You could also take advantage of the buy-one-get-one-free special where you order two burgers and get the cheaper one for free
Spiro’s (Hout Bay) On Mondays at Spiro’s, you can enjoy a 500g rump steak, flame-grilled with a choice of mushroom or pepper sauce, served with home-made oregano chips for R110.
Tacoways Mexican Café (Durbanville) Order a Fiesta-for-one special for R99 or a Fiesta-for-two for R195. Both include items such as jalapeño poppers, chicken wings and a cool drink. Alternatively, go for the snack box for two for R105, which includes poppers, wings, chimichangas and chipotle mayo. (Pay R199 for four people; R299 for six to eight people; and R499 for 1o to 12 people.)
